England's Queen Elizabeth II took part in a celebration marking the 400th anniversary of the King James Bible, Thursday.
Prince Charles joined his mother in celebrating with some 2,000 worshippers at Westminster Abbey.
The King James Version of the Bible is considered by many the most influential book ever printed in the English language.
Commissioned by King James I, 47 translators in London, Oxford, and Cambridge produced the book in 1611.
The anniversary has been observed with celebrations and educational events around the world.
