- Partnering with First Baptist Church of Bethlehem, Israel, an OB team conducted an eye-care medical outreach which treated more than 700 patients, both Christians and Muslims. The staff worked 14-hour days for one week doing eye exams, handing out glasses, and performing cataract surgeries. Several Muslim patients were saved and the outreach significantly enhanced the relationship of the church with the local Palestinian community.

West Africa: Through our CBN WorldReach centers during the month, 25,948 people were presented the Gospel in 62 outreaches with 4,418 praying to receive Jesus as their Savior. Fresh water wellswere drilled by CBN staff in 13 rural communities in
Nigeria and Ghana with a combined population of about 11,020.
South Africa: At our media ministry centers during the month, 26,793 decisions for Christ were made through 141 events.

United Kingdom: The first phase of the upgrade to increase call capacity for the prayer center was completed. We leased the top floor of a building where six phone booths and additional computers have been installed.
Bulgaria: The land that was purchased in Rossino was ploughed and prepared for planting of potatoes in the spring.
Romania: The Back-to-School project has blessed 601 children, mainly orphans, with school bags, supplies, clothes, and shoes.

Pray for a bountiful harvest of the potato crop in Bulgaria so that it will produce a good income for the people and that many will be saved through this project.
Pray for the upgrade of the phone system in the UK that it will increase our efficiency and ability to serve the people that ask for prayer and help.

Our adult and children’s programs continue to air on Life-TV with a potential audience of 10 million people.
We are in the process of negotiations with the following TV channels: Shkolnik TV, about airing our children’s programs (potential audience 30 million people); and Music Box, about airing One Cubed (potential audience 20 million people).
972 boarding school orphans received used clothes, shows, socks, toys, hygiene items, school and medical supplies, and water filters.
107 stations throughout the CIS now air CBN programming. Besides stations in the Ukraine and Russia, we also broadcast in Belarus, Moldova, Armenia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Estonia, and Latvia.

A total of 36,771 people responded to our weekly TV programs through calls, letters, and email. 63,784 people viewed the Jesus film in 90 shows and 1,306 prayed for salvation.
8,950 benefited from 32 fresh water bore wells drilled by OB in the states of Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh.
38,543 people were given dental, eye and medical services, and 2,056 received glasses. Additionally, 1,134 HIV patients were provided medicine and counseling. 70 cataract surgeries were completed and 4 cleft lip palate procedures were performed.
Our children’s program, Happy World, now airs weekly on a national station in Nepal.

We received 5,186 phone calls at our counseling center that resulted in 659 salvations. This was an increase of 40% from last month.
Solusi Life is now airing three times per week at the prime time of 7:30 P.M. on PJTV, a local station in Bandung.
Through the program called “A Thousand Smiles of Indonesian Children,” 20,000 educational packages were distributed to natural disaster areas where OB’s emergency teams ministered throughout last year.
The popularity of CBN’s website, jawaban.com, is growing and now routinely ranks among the top 600 websites in Indonesia and is the largest Christian website in the country.

Mexico: Following the earthquake that shook Mexico, soup kitchens were provided that served up to 600 meals each day. Food packages, water, and clothes were given to more than 400 families.
Peru: The second phase education program sponsored by Regent University titled “Entrepreneurs for the Kingdom” was held for about 500 students.

An Arabic documentary was aired investigating the roots of terrorism in Islam.

The 700 Club Asia show generated a cumulative audience of over 1.1 million viewers during the month. The counseling center received
8,791 calls of which 1,568 people prayed to receive Jesus into their lives.
Over 5,900 people in 18 medical clinics were helped during the month, including 20 recipients of wheelchairs.
Disaster relief was given to almost 25,000 displaced people after a typhoon hit Albay. Medical treatment was administered to 902 people, and over 9,800 gallons of water were provided.
OB held 3 pastors’ training seminars where 22 pastors and 62 lay leaders attended. Also, Vacation Bible School teachers’ training was
conducted for 1,557 workers.
Livelihood grants were given to 27 poor families across the country to help augment their income.
Through various outreaches during the month, 5,219 people made the decision to follow Christ.

Our 70th medical mission was held giving consultation and treatment to 505 people. 43 dedicated their lives to God.
The tsunami relief office staff completed 9 wells, 20 house repairs, 2 new house constructions, 15 boat repairs, and provided livelihood
initiatives benefiting 20 people.
Our feeding program at 3 orphanages benefited 157 children this month. Rice and cooking oil was provided along with food budget money.
