Small Business Restores Hope for Urkaine Family
CBN.com Vladimir and Nataliya grew up as orphans with little money or food. Several years ago they met in church and got married. They loved each other very much and shared a faith in the Lord.
They were happy together despite their difficult financial situation. But after the birth of their baby, they were desperate because there was no work in their village. They would wake every morning not knowing whether they would have food for their baby.
Nataliya also had to take care of her younger siblings. But once she had her own baby, she was the one who needed help.
Vladamir and Nataliya did not have any hope for a better future.
A New Start
The pastor of their local church knew about the couple’s situation and approached Operation Blessing for help. Operation Blessing provided $2,500 for Vladimir and Nataliya to start a small business in the Bashtanka village.
This young family was able to buy four cows and a watering system for their garden. Now by selling milk from the cows they have a stable monthly income of $300. They are also selling vegetables grown with the aid of the newly installed watering system.
Vladimir and Nataliya are thanking God and CBN partners for the help that has been provided.
They said, “Our life has changed completely. We live and feel the desire to live. We want to work and do everything we can!”
