A Text for Healing
CBN.com – Bernardita and her four-year-old son had been in bed with the flu for three days. Her money had run out, and she couldn’t afford to buy medicine or food.
“I said, ‘God I need a miracle. Whsom can I ask for help?’” Bernardita wondered. That’s when she saw the The 700 Club Asia.
Bernardita recalled, “The host said, ‘Receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Nothing is impossible with God. He is the Great Healer.’”
Bernardita sent a text message to a CBN prayer counselor to let them know that she had prayed to receive Jesus as her Savior. She asked for prayer for her healing and for food, and then she took a nap. When Bernardita woke up her flu symptoms were gone.
”I felt different,” she said. “I was surprised to find that my fever and joint pain were gone! I felt so light! My son was also completely well by morning.”
A few days later, and for no apparent reason, a friend gave Bernardita some money. It was enough to buy a week’s worth of groceries, so she went and bought food.
Bernardita was grateful for how God has used The 700 Club to touch her life, so she set aside a small gift for the ministry. That same week, she received a phone call from her family. They told her that they had just sold some property, and that Bernardita’s share in the profits was 60 times the amount she had set aside for CBN.
She said, “I feel like bursting with joy. God is our Doctor, the Great Healer. He is our Source. And He worked through The 700 Club to answer my prayers.”
