Christians Still Fear Death in Iraq

CBNNews.com - Radical Muslim fanatics have issued an ultimatum to Christians living in northern Iraq: leave the area or face death.
On Sunday, an Iraqi Christian businessman was shot dead in Mosul.
He was the tenth Christian to be killed in the northern city this month.
No one has claimed responsibility for the attacks, but many suspect al Qaeda.
The Iraqi government has sent more than 1,000 police officers to Mosul to protect the Christians.
CBN News spoke by phone to an Iraqi pastor who says some 1,200 Christian families have been forced to flee the volatile city.
"The situation is very dangerous now in Mosul. The Christians are the weakest group in the society because... as Christians we don't have weapons in our houses. We don't have a militia who can protect us against the terrorists," he said.
"We need people around the world to know that the Christians in Iraq are facing a very big problem... we depend on our Lord Jesus Christ that He will protect us... let the Christians around the world pray for us and know that we are suffering that's what we need."
Sources in Mosul say many of those who fled have found shelter in churches and monasteries.
The Iraqi government is planning to setup refugee camps just north of the city.
