God's Protection in Times of Trouble
October 13, 2008
The current economic "9-11" has affected people all over the world including here in Israel. This weekend, I heard two powerful sermons about how we as believers can face these times of trouble.
Malcolm Hedding, the director of the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem gave a very timely and powerful message based on Psalm 46 which says in part, "God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble." Here's the link to his message. It's called "Turbulent Times."
Also, Pastor Wayne Hilsden of King of Kings Congregation gave a message called "The Psalm and the Succa." It's based on Psalm 27 which says "For in the day of trouble, He sill deep me safe in His dwelling." Here's the link to his message.
We also did an interview with Hilsden and have included an excerpt here on Jerusalem Dateline. I think you'll find his interview and these two timely messages very encouraging in light of these uncertain times.
