WEB EXTRA: Sen. Graham Rallies GOP Troops

CBNNews.com - South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham spoke "for the troops" Thursday night, saying that John McCain stood for the troop surge because it was "the right thing to do."
"John McCain's loyalty has always been to our men and women in uniform. Not to a political party," he said.
"By every measure, the surge in Iraq has worked. It has worked," he said as he began his remarks. McCain supported the idea of a surge early on, in the face of much political opposition.
Graham contined to tell of the progess being made in Iraq, both militarily and politically. That progess, he says, is something the Democrats are not willing to admit for fear of giving any credit to other party.
"You can say it at this convention: We are winning," Graham said.
