Graham: Gospel is Being Preached in Chinese Churches

SHANGHAI, China - The Reverend Franklin Graham says no one has told him what to preach during his visits this week to government-registered churches in China.
On Sunday, he says he preached to 12,000 people at a huge church, and 1,200 responded to his invitation to trust Jesus Christ.
Graham acknowledges that unregistered churches face "some difficulty" in parts of China, but says the pastors he's met insist they're free to preach, win converts and give Bibles to Olympic athletes.
The son of evangelist Billy Graham says he's opposed to foreign missionaries proselytizing at the Beijing games this summer because it would be illegal and could hurt the Chinese church.
