Narnia Director Says Valiant Mouse Resembles Cat in Shrek

NEW YORK - The director of "The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian" says there are similarities between the valiant mouse Reepicheep and a character in the "Shrek" films he directed.
Andrew Adamson says he read the Narnia books as a child and unconsciously modeled Puss In Boots after Reepicheep -- something he didn't recognize until he started work on "Prince Caspian."
Ben Barnes, who plays Caspian, says the battle scenes were fun because he cuts down multiple attackers with no chance of losing. After all, he's in the next Narnia film, "Voyage of the Dawn Treader."
Now that he's got the part, Barnes also says he can admit that he doesn't know how to sail.
