Franklin Graham Opposes Missionary Work at Olympics

BEIJING - The Reverend Franklin Graham says he's opposed to missionary work at this summer's Beijing Olympic Games, because it's against Chinese law.
The son of evangelist Billy Graham made the remarks during a visit to Beijing for meetings with the government-controlled Protestant church.
Chinese Christians who meet in independent, unauthorized congregations are frequently subject to harassment and arrest. But Franklin Graham said Christians in China must obey the law.
And while some Christian groups have said they plan to proselytize during the August games, Franklin Graham said he "would not support any illegal activity at all."
