Dallas Event Kicks off Global Day of Prayer

DALLAS - Christians in the U.S. and nations around the world have taken part in the fourth annual Global Day of Prayer.
The event, which was telecast on the GOD-TV channel, began Saturday evening with a prayer rally at the Dallas Convention Center and continued through Pentecost Sunday with prayer services in Jerusalem, Asia, Africa and the South Pacific.
Like the National Day of Prayer earlier this month, the Global Day of Prayer called on Christians to confess and turn away from their sins so that God might bless their lands.
